Even if you have accepted a job over the phone, it’s a good idea to write a job acceptance letter to confirm the details of employment and to formally accept the job offer.

An appointment letter/verbal appointment would typically include the following:

  • Why the candidate is qualified for the position.
  • Deadline of the offer.
  • What the candidate should do if s/he have any question(s).
